After shopping around a bit, I chose this Minnesota Vegas pool table. It seemed a good table, however Setup isn't a 10 minute process though. It might be overwhelming for the mechanically challenged too. The slate is heavy so you'll need burly folks to set the slates in place.

If you're looking for a fine piece of furniture as well as a pool table, this isn't for you. However, if you're looking for an affordable pool table that plays as well as the top of the line tables and you're willing to put some sweat equity into it, this is an excellent table for you.

This was a gift for my son. He really enjoys billiards and wanted a table at home, but only if it had the correct feel to the table. This pool table fits the bill. Is it fine furniture? No. But it has leveling feet, is solid and comes with an amazingly clean, flat 3 piece slate top.
